Dear Syrian American Club Members

As we continue to monitor the rapidly evolving situation around the coronavirus (COVID-19), our thoughts and prayers are for the safety and well-being of all people and the healthcare professionals fighting at the front lines. This is an unprecedented time in our history and keeping our Syrian American community safe and healthy is our utmost concern.

In support of the global efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus, we are suspending all of our scheduled social events until further notice to ensure the safety and well-being of our members and communities.

The COVID-19 pandemic is having an impact on the health of our loved ones, the businesses we rely upon, the global economy, and the way we live our daily lives. Now, more than ever, we need to look out for each other.

We want you to know that the Syrian American Club is here for you. Should you need any help or announcements posted, please feel free to reach out at council@washingtonsac.org and we will do our very best to assist you.

We would also like to encourage you to support the local businesses--notably from our small community--impacted by these difficult circumstances, while still adhering to the social distancing guidelines and staying home as much as possible.

Sincerely,

The Syrian American Club of Washington, D.C.
